The Indigenous Policy Initiative team comprises of graduate students at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy. Led by two upper-year graduate students at the Munk School, the Indigenous Policy Initiative is fortunate to be advised by Faculty Advisor, (To Be Determined...).
Director
Blake Douglas
Blake is a second year Master of Public Policy student at the University of Toronto Munk School and a settler-ally committed to supporting Indigenous sovereignty and self-determination. As a Director of IPI, he is passionate about the inclusion of Indigenous voices, understandings, and knowledge within democratic policy. Blake's academic research has focused on child welfare and reconciliation , and he also brings experience in grassroots organizing.

Lauren Reeves
Lauren is a second year Master of Global Affairs candidate at the Munk School and has two years of experience with Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada as a Policy and Program Officer supporting First Nations across Canada on climate change adaptation and governance. Lauren is passionate about the meaningful inclusion of Indigenous voices in Canadian and global politics and policy decisions.
