Here at IPI, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in promoting open, cross-cultural dialogue regarding Indigenous issues. Being a not-for-profit and graduate student-run organization, housed in the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, we hope to inspire strategic changes within our community. We strive to foster productive partnerships and make a positive impact for Indigenous communities with all of our pursuits.
Build strategic partnerships
Facilitate open, cross-cultural dialogue
"Reconciliation is not an Aboriginal problem — it is a Canadian problem. It involves all of us." - Justice Murray Sinclair
Here at IPI, we have four objectives:
1) Promote awareness of Indigenous issues
2) Transform education by fostering informed learning
3) Facilitate open dialogue
4) Build strategic partnerships with neighbouring communities, organizations and institutions
Our hope is to change the existing narratives and transform the educational environment at the Munk School by bringing forth Indigenous voices on key issues.
